Carbon fiber front canards for the Audi R8 4S (2nd generation), pre-facelift and Facelift models. They mount on both edges of the front bumper, give the front of the car a sharper, race-car character, and pair well with a carbon front lip.

Available versions

Pre-facelift and Facelift 4S (2015–2024)

  • LMS GT4 Style front canard pair – canard pair in the style of the Audi R8 LMS GT4 race car, made from prepreg dry carbon (autoclave-cured).
  • Curved front fin pair (2 pcs) – one long, curved, single-blade fin per side, made from prepreg dry carbon (autoclave-cured).

Both pairs can be installed without removing the front bumper; the screws go into metal inserts.

2nd generation, pre-facelift (4S, 2015–2018)

  • Performance Style front canard set (4 pcs) – two long lower blades with a step near their outer ends, and two short, trapezoid-shaped upper blades.
  • Sport Style front canard set (4 pcs) – a similar layout with slimmer, more curved upper blades, made from prepreg dry carbon (autoclave-cured).
  • Euro V2 Style front canard set – two vertical side plates, each with four stacked, pointed blades; 3x3 twill weave, gloss carbon fiber.

Audi R8 4S Facelift (2019–2024)

  • GT Style front canard set (4 pcs) – R8 GT-inspired design: on each side, one large, L-shaped lower canard with an upturned vertical end and a smaller upper blade.
  • Capristo Style front canard set (4 pcs) – on each side, two stacked, curved blades (one longer and one shorter), made from clear-coated carbon fiber.

Material and finish

The LMS GT4 Style pair, the curved fin pair and the Sport Style set are available in matte or gloss finish – please specify in the order notes. For the Sport Style, a forged carbon version is available at extra cost – please check with us.

Compatibility

In the Model option, choose the version that matches your car's generation: the front bumpers of the pre-facelift (2015–2018) and the Audi R8 4S Facelift (2019–2024) differ, and the canards are not interchangeable. The LMS GT4 Style pair and the curved fin pair are available for both 4S versions; if in doubt, please confirm the fit with us.

Installation

Depending on the version, the canards are secured with screws or adhesive tape. When using adhesive on a ceramic-coated car, the coating must first be removed from the bonding surface. Professional installation is recommended. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us!
