How it works
- Remote: from home, using your own laptop. Connect the ENET cable to the car and your laptop, then send us your TeamViewer ID and password. Our technician connects remotely and writes the software (about 20 minutes).
- At our place: at a pre-arranged time – you don't need any equipment of your own.
- Call-out in Pest County: we come to you anywhere in Pest County and bring all the equipment.
After your purchase, we will email you a link to book an appointment.
What you need for remote service
- ENET cable (OBD2 → Ethernet)
- Windows PC
- TeamViewer (the free version is fine)
- Stable internet connection
Frequently asked questions
What does the CS/CSL flash package include?
CS/CSL software for the transmission, traction control, power steering and differential, plus LCI/CS/CSL software for the suspension.
Can I choose the calibration for each component?
Yes. For each component you choose from the factory G80 CS, G81 CS, G82 CS, G82 CSL, G80/G81/G82 LCI and G87 CS calibrations.
Will it add power?
No, the package doesn't touch the engine. The factory CS engine software is sold separately for the G87 M2 and the G80 M3 / G82 M4.
Does it need an ECU unlock, and will I lose my warranty?
Neither: no ECU unlock is needed, and as genuine BMW (OEM) software it does not void your warranty. It doesn't affect existing ECU tuning either.
Does it work on the X3 M and X4 M?
Yes, on BMW F97 X3 M and F98 X4 M LCI models.
Can the original calibration be restored?
Yes, the original factory calibration can be restored.
Will it survive a dealer or over-the-air (OTA) update?
Not necessarily: a dealer or over-the-air (OTA) software update can overwrite it.
How long does it take?
About 20 minutes remotely, with an ENET cable, a Windows laptop and TeamViewer. You can also have it done at our place or with a call-out in Pest County.
